Recent Announcements

  • Facebook has purchased 150 acres of land and broke ground in July 2015 on a 750,000 square foot data center. This building is one of three buildings going up in AllianceTexas. Facebook is investing $1.2 billion in the project, which is expected to create 50 new jobs. 
  • Galderma, an international skin care, and health company is moving their R&D facility to their Fort Worth location. This expansion will create 342 jobs.
  • Amazon, the world's largest online retailer, is completing construction of its 1.1 million square foot distribution center at AllianceTexas. The 68-acre site will create 1,000-plus warehouse jobs.
  • Walmart has acquired 21.8 acres in AllianceTexas to construct a 788,000 square foot e-commerce distribution center. The company will invest more than $30 million in the project, which is expected to create 400 jobs.
  • The Carolina Beverage Group, LLC, a contract bottler for numerous national and international alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, is considering opening a 400,000 square foot manufacturing and distribution center in Fort Worth. The company would create approximately 225 jobs.
  • NGC Renewables, a manufacturer of wind turbine equipment, recently broke ground on an 18.6-acre site in the AllianceTexas development to construct a 120,000 square foot headquarters and manufacturing facility. This North American headquarters location for NGC will create more than 150 jobs in the region over the next five years.
  • Leading Edge Aviation Services’ new plan at Fort Worth Meacham Airport is gearing up to handle all of the painting on the 787 Dreamliner airplanes.  The world’s largest aircraft painting company is bringing at least 150 jobs to the City of Fort Worth.
